Cichlids are one of the most socially complex species on the planet. We plan to use a deep learning model to explore links cichlid fish genomics and their social behaviors. We hope that establishing such a relationship will lead to a better understanding of how to encourage population stability for various fish species and curb patterns of endangerment/extinction.
